My challenge for my 40th birthday...

On my 40th birthday I felt an urge to start something new. In the next stage of my professional development I want to have more fun and worry less about how good my ideas are; To loosen up, to not be so precious about every decision. I was inspired by Everett Downing and his fabulous 365 supers, so I'm doing something similar: An animated film logline every day:

What are they?
Ideas for animated films in the shortest form of description, written and sketched in under 20 minutes. Currently I'm down to one hour.

What for?
To exercise the invention muscle, to keep my eyes open for ideas, to love something intensely and dispatch it as quickly as possible, so I stop overworking ideas and art. I'm also jealous of artists who apply themselves and share artwork every week.

Could they be made into actual films, ever?
I don't think so, and I don't really care. They should be crappy, free and silly. If I intended them to be real potential projects, I'd hesitate to show them publicly, and I'd invest more than an hour before exposing them. I'm having fun aiming for the bottom of the pile.
